learn react.js function-based (NOT class-ish) via /r/reactjs

Hi,

what is the proper way to learn react.js in 2020?? All the tutorial on youtube and udemy have classes and only in some bonus videos at the end they introduce hooks or functional components. is there any good series or book to start learning the “new” react?
